  • 1 small onion; diced
  • 1 small red or green bell pepper; diced
  • 1 stalk celery; diced
  • 2 garlic cloves; crushed
  • 2 teaspoons creole seasoning
  • 1 15 oz. can Margaret Holmes Tomatoes and Okra
  • 1 15 oz can Margaret Holmes Seasoned Blackeye Peas
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 lb small to medium frozen shrimp; defrosted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2-3 dashes hot sauce
