
Hoppin’ John and Ham
It doesn't get any simpler than this! Olive oil, onion, Margaret Holmes Hoppin' John, chicken broth and cubed ham. Hearty and flavorful dish that is perfect with cornbread!
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- 2 14.5 oz. cans Margaret Holmes Hoppin’ John
- 1 16 oz. can chicken broth
- 1 cup cubed ham
Instructions
- Heat oil and sauté onion for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in Margaret Holmes Hoppin’ John, chicken broth and ham. Turn heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Great with cornbread!
